My son has been going there for years (over 10) and says they are alright once you get past intake which usually takes all day.

It’s not a perfect place, but it can get you the help you need. The people who work there have to deal with a lot of red tape and bureaucracy to be able to help so many low-income Augustans get mental healthcare, and sometimes those obstacles are felt by the patient. However, there are plenty of hard-working people there who genuinely want to help people get treatment. I’ve been able to see doctors and get necessary prescriptions there for quite a while even though I have no health insurance.
